When I was thinking about where to share my photos, I was looking for a platform that made sense not only visually, but also in terms of values. There are plenty of social networks – but few truly give space to the content itself. In August 2022, I came across VERO by chance. And within a few days, I was genuinely impressed.
What is VERO
VERO is a visual network without ads, without algorithms, and without pressure to chase numbers.
It’s a place where content matters more than format.
Where photos keep their quality, and you don’t have to worry about how often you post.
Why I like it
- No ads – just pure content, without distractions.
- No algorithm – posts appear in the order they’re shared.
- Quality – no compression, no blurring.
- Community – international, naturally respectful and inspiring.
- Creative diversity – alongside photography, you'll find drawings, music, and other creative fields.
- Natural pace – no stress, no race for attention.
Instagram? Yes, but…
I still use Instagram – mainly as a public noticeboard or for staying in touch with friends and family.
It’s a platform that has its place, but it’s not a space for slowing down or for real dialogue.
Vero is something else for me.
Instagram is a billboard – VERO is a café with friends.
VERO isn’t about business. VERO is about the joy of creating within a like-minded community.
My Experience After 3 Years
Even after 3 years, VERO remains my number one social network.
If you’re a creator – whether it’s photography, drawing, music, or anything in between – VERO is definitely worth trying.
